34 years ago, The Flying Pickets were at number 1 with "Only You". It was the first record that I bought. aged only 9. I had bought it for my mam as a Christmas present. I loved singing the harmony, but it was a tad difficult with only myself to sing along with. Having read through their wiki page it is sad to see that the lead singer died back in 2012, but the actual group itself has lost all 6 original band members and is now made up of all new singers with the only thing remaining being the bands name. Surely if you bought tickets to see there concert wouldn't you be a little put out that not even one of the original members is part of the group, and as they only did/do covers..... Anyways I thought it strange, but here is the nostalgia hope you enjoy it.
